Getting started
Getting started Small Company that knows what it wants
You are a small business of 250 employees and you know that you have about 60 employees that smoke. You already have a smoking policy and its just a matter of offering these staff the chance to quit smoking before the ban next summer. You reckon that about half of them would go for quitting if offered the chance. You decide to offer them a stop smoking group- one in 2 months time and one 6 months later.
You contact us and we nominate a member of our team to work with you. Our associate arranges a meeting with your MD and head of HR to work out the best way of advertising the stop smoking group and sorts out the details of where and when to hold it. We provide posters and advertising material and you do an intranet message to staff. You nominate a person in HR to collect names of people who want to join the first group. Our associate confirms details to individuals with extra information about the group. The group runs for 6 weeks.
